John Paul Ryan is Research Clinical Coordinator at the Geneva Foundation and is completing his PhD in the Clinical Psychology program at The Catholic University of America (CUA), where he aims to concentrate on the role of chaplains, clergy, and interpersonal relations in preventing suicide. He earned his BA in Psychology and Spanish for International Service in 2018 from CUA, where he conducted research pertaining to migrant seasonal farmworkers and military suicide prevention.
He also has been a part of diverse research investigating fMRI biomarkers of Alzheimer’s disease, implementing neurological interventions to older adults with HIV, and coordinating clinical trials for a COVID-19 vaccine.
