CONFERENCES AND EXPERT MEETINGS
STI organizes and sponsors expert meetings that bring together scholars from a wide range of disciplines to study and debate issues of major contemporary social relevance, within its three main areas of interest. These meetings are developed under the oversight of an academic leader, a leading scholar in the field under consideration. The academic leader defines the topic to be studied, formulates the principal research questions, identifies and invites the most relevant thinkers—representing different disciplines and nationalities—guides the contributions, leads the discussion, and oversees the resulting publication.
