Dr. Morse is the founder of the Ruth Institute, a global non-profit organization that defends the family at home and in the public square and equips others to do the same. She also joined the Hoover Institution as a research fellow in 1997. She writes about the family and the free society. Her book, Love and Economics: Why the Laissez-Faire Family Doesen’t Work (Spence Publishing, 2001), shows why the family is the necessary building block for a free scociety and why so many modern attempted substitutes dor the family do not work.
