Roberto Andorno is Associate Professor of Biomedical Law and Bioethics at the Faculty of Law, and Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Biomedical Ethics and History of Medicine of the University of Zurich, Switzerland. He holds a doctorate in law from the Universities of Buenos Aires (1990) and Paris-Est Créteil (1994). Dr. Andorno served as a member of the UNESCO International Bioethics Committee (IBC) representing Argentina. He has extensively published on topics relating to bioethics and human rights, notably Bioética y dignidad de la persona (Madrid, Tecnos, 2012), and Principles of international biolaw (Brussels, Bruylant, 2014).
