Andrew Hurrell is Montague Burton Professor of International Relations at Oxford University and a Fellow of Balliol College. He was elected to the British Academy in 2011 and to the Johns Hopkins Society of Scholars in 2010. He is a Delegate of Oxford University Press and a member of the Finance Committee (the board of the company).
He was awarded the Susan Strange Prize by the International Studies Association in 2015. His publications include On Global Order. Power, Values and the Constitution of International Society (OUP, 2008) which was the winner of International Studies Association Prize for Best Book in the field of International Relations in 2009; (with Ngaire Woods), Inequality, Globalization and World Politics (1999); and (with Louise Fawcett), Regionalism in World Politics (1995).
