Sally Glen is the Pro Vice Chancellor Academic at the University of Wolverhampton. She is Chair of the West Midland Higher Education Health Group, Co-Chair of the West Midlands Higher Education National Health Service Strategic Partnership Group, and a member of the West Midlands Strategic Health Authority Stakeholder Board.
Professor Glen is also an Institutional Reviewer for the QAA and was a member of the Higher Degrees Review Panel and HEFCE CELT advisory panel. She is a member of the HEFCE Widening Access and Participation Strategic Advisory Committee. Before joining the University in September 2006, Professor Glen was Deputy Director of the Institute of Health Sciences/Dean of School of Nursing and Midwifery/Professor of Education at City University. From 1996 to 2000 she was inaugural Dean/Professor of Education of the School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Dundee.
Previous academic appointments include: Acting Head of the School of Health and Social Care, London South Bank University, Senior Lecturer, University of Glasgow, Lecturer at the Institute of Education, University of London. Her research interests include philosophical approaches to professional education in health and social care.
