Randall Morck holds the Stephen A. Jarislowsky Distinguished Chair in Finance at the University of Alberta. He graduated summa cum laude from Yale in 1979 with an honors BS in applied mathematics and an MA in Economics, and then completed a Ph.D. in economics at Harvard. He has published over 100 articles in journals such as the American Economic Review, the Journal of Finance, and the Journal of Financial Economics on corporate ownership and governance, international business, and political economic; that are cited in over 1,500 other journal articles. Professor Morck has held visiting chair appointments at Harvard, the University of Michigan and George Mason University.
