Nicholas Teh is Postdoctoral Researcher in Philosophy of Physics and Affiliated Researcher in the Dept. of History and Philosophy of Science, University of Cambridge. He holds a PhD in Philosophy of Physics, University of Cambridge (July 2012). His dissertation was on the mathematical and philosophical foundations of modern quantum field theory. He was Rothschild Research Scholar at Trinity College, Cambridge.

His primary research areas are the philosophy of physics, metaphysics, and the intersection of rationality, action theory, and moral psychology.  He studied mathematical physics and philosophy at Princeton, graduating with a BA in Astrophysics. He then obtained an MA in philosophy at the University of Pittsburgh and held an Earhart Fellowship while visiting the Department of Philosophy at Harvard University.
