Geoffrey Stevenson

Dr Stevenson is an honorary fellow at the University of Edinburgh.

Dr Stevenson is a lecturer and writer who teaches homiletics and media literacy at the University of Edinburgh where he is an Honorary Fellow. He also teaches at St John’s College, the University of Durham. He studied philosophy and theology at Oxford, then trained as an actor and mime artist. A deviser and performer of his own mime theatre shows, he toured extensively throughout the UK and Europe for 18 years. From 1996 – 2005 he was Director of the CCC at St John’s College, University of Durham. He has published two books on mime in the church and three on preaching.
