Christopher Berry is Professor of Political Theory at the University of Glasgow. His primary research interests are Philisophical Anthropology and the Scottish Enlightenment. He supervises PhDs on such topics as human nature, the Scottish Enlightenment, Hume, John Miller and Oakeshott.
Among his published books are The Social Theory of the Scottish Enlightenment, and The Idea of Luxury: A Conceptual and Historical Investigation.
