Eneko Belausteguigoitia

Mr. Belausteguigoitia studied chemical engineering at the Universidad National Autonoma de México, receiving his degree in 1955. He took postgraduate courses in production engineering management and economics at London University’s Imperial College and at the London School of Economics. He has taught courses on business policy at IESE and on agro industries at IPADE. He did an AMP at Harvard in 1985 and received Harvard’s Achievement Award in 1987.

He has been a member of the board of San Ignacio de Loyola Vizcainas, one of the oldest schools in Mexico, for thirty years. He helps students pursue their Masters in Harvard, IESE and IPADE.

He is a Board member of several companies: Beta San Miguel – Sugar; Beta Santa Monica – Milk; OPISA - in Bilbao; Unagra- Financial society; and Desc – which he founded jointly with Manuel Senderos. He also founded the Arocena Museum in Coahuila Torreón.

He is also an art collector and sailor.
